Coyote and The Buffalo

"What makes Coyote appealing, despite his character flaws?"

Coyote’s character flaws are what makes him so appealing. He started out the story by abusing the skull of Buffalo Bull, which was rather pointless but it helped him get out his pent-up anger with the larger creature. After helping Buffalo Bull form new horns and defeat his enemy, Coyote seems like he’s changed his character, to the point where Buffalo Bull trusts him with the youngest cow. Unfortunately, Coyote ignores the readers’ pleas for peace and kills the cow.
