Averred – to assert or affirm with confidence; verb
The lawyer averred that his client was not guilty after presenting the evidence

Heterodox – not in accordance with established or accepted doctrines or opinions; adjective
The girl’s negative opinion on The Avengers was heterodox, seeing as how the movie got incredible reviews from everyone else in the class.
